Walnut Creek Library sits on the traditional lands of the Bay Miwok and Muwekma Ohlone people. To honor them, we wanted to help you learn a few words in Chochenyo, one of the languages historically spoken in this region. Search the children’s section for images that match the Chochenyo words on your list.
Check them off when you find them, and bring your list to the information desk for a small prize. This program is generously sponsored by the Walnut Creek Library Foundation.
